The Gros Plan catamaran departs from Nosy Be, Madagascar for sensational dives in the Indian Ocean. Routes last 6 days and either head to the southern Radames Archipelago or the northern Mitsio Islands. Divers have the opportunity to encounter leopard sharks, turtles, whale sharks, whales, Spanish dancers, beautiful coral reefs, swim-throughs, and wrecks.The 4-member crew onboard is always on hand to ensure you have a smooth and relaxing trip. Radames Diving Cruise (Nosy Be - Nosy Be) 6D/5N
Day 1We meet at 1:30 PM at the Ambatoloaka dive shop, Nosy Be. Crossing the bay.
In the late afternoon, anchorage in Russian Bay.
Day 2
Morning dive in South Canyon.
Afternoon dive in Kalakajoro to the west.
Anchorage at Antanimora.
Day 3
Morning dive at Bench Cyclone.
Dive garden Suzanne.
Stop in the afternoon at Antanimora Island.
Visit the fishing village and explore the island, anchoring at Antanimora and night diving.
Day 4
Morning dive at Greg Steilwand.
Diving in Berafia to the west.
In the afternoon, stop at Baramahmay River to meet the villagers of Anchorage Baramahmay.
Day 5
Morning dive at Roches Gabriel.
Stopover at Nosy Iranja Turtle Island, which has the most beautiful beach found on neighboring islands.
A short walk will be offered by our crew.
Afternoon dive west of Nosy Iranja.
Anchorage in Russian Bay.
Day 6
2 dives at Tanikely Island.
After lunch, return to Nosy Be.
Landing at 3:00 PM.
This program is subject to weather conditions according to tidal currents.Radames ArchipelagoThe Radama Archipelago consists of four islands: Nosy Kalakajoro, Nosy Ovy, Nosy Valhia, and Antany Mora. The archipelago has amazing tropical vegetation and beautiful beaches that are rarely visited. The few fishing villages are worth a visit, not only for their friendliness and care of the premises but also to discover their way of life.All dive sites are located in the Mozambique Channel, about 3 minutes from the islands.
These drop-offs mainly vary in depth between 12 and 60-80m. The show is fantastic and breathtaking, thanks to huge sea fans, caves, and rock crevices. Regular encounters with schools of barracuda and mackerel, white-tip sharks, hammerhead sharks, and giant groupers.
