A magical paradise for divers – and with Scubatours, you dive with the best – Buceo Carey
Baja California, the spectacular peninsula of Mexico, is a true mecca for divers and underwater photographers. The region offers an extraordinary variety of marine life and some of the most impressive dive sites in the world.
The waters around the Sea of Cortez, also known as the "Aquarium of the World," fascinate with their biodiversity. Here, divers can swim with whale sharks, sea lions, dolphins, and massive schools of fish in crystal-clear water. The islands around La Paz feature spectacular rock formations and incredible encounters with whale sharks, mantas, and mobula rays.
Additionally, Baja California is famous for its pelagic dives – from massive schools of migrating mobula rays to encounters with blue whales.

All dives take place at different islands and dive sites in the Sea of Cortez.
The dive sites are chosen daily by the captain based on weather conditions and currents, always prioritizing maximum safety for divers.
The journey to the dive sites takes between 90 and 120 minutes, so a bit of seaworthiness is recommended. Buceo Carey uses speedboats, each carrying a maximum of 10 divers. The boats are well-equipped, featuring a toilet and a rescue kit with 100% oxygen.
The top dive sites include sea lion colonies, sunken ships, vibrant and intact coral reefs, and much more!
