Belize Exploration - Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Cay, and Turneffe Reef (Belize - Belize)

Guests will be met by a crew member in uniform at Belize City (BZE) International Airport and taken to the yachts. Guests can board the yacht on Saturdays between 3 and 6 pm. At 6pm the yacht will depart for its overnight anchorage to prepare for diving on Sunday morning. After a full week of diving, the Belize Aggressor III or IV returns to the Radisson Ft. George docks in Belize City on Friday afternoon after lunch. Check-out is Saturday morning at 8am. Return transport to Belize City International Airport is Saturday morning.

Belize is a paradise for wall divers. Transparent walls such as Painted Wall, Half Moon Caye Wall and Quebrada are adorned with huge purple gorgonians and giant orange elephant ear sponges. Moray eels, lobsters and tiny arrow crabs hide in every crack, crevice, cave and tunnel of these beautiful coral formations. These are just some of the things you'll see at Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Cay and Turneffe Reef.

Every Saturday at 6pm, the luxurious Belize Aggressor departs from the docks of the Radisson Ft. George for a week of hassle-free diving to Lighthouse Reef, Half Moon Cay and the famous Blue Hole in the heart of downtown Belize City. The mystical Blue Hole, a collapsed freshwater cave system, is approximately 1000 feet in diameter and over 400 feet deep. The Blue Hole was made famous by marine pioneer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who declared it one of the top ten dive sites in the world. In 1971, he brought his ship, the Calypso, to the Blue Hole to map its depths. After descending into the Blue Hole, guests will see beautiful vertical stalactite formations.

Onboard diving in Belize begins on Sunday morning and ends on Friday before lunch when the Belize Aggressor III or IV returns to harbour. From Sunday to Thursday there will be unlimited diving all day and a night dive each evening. Friday offers a half day of diving. A trip to this Central American paradise is not complete without a visit to the Mayan ruins of Belize, a cave tubing trip through the jungle or a canopy tour through the treetops. To fully enjoy the wonders of Belize and its corner of the Caribbean, you should add a few more days to your holiday. On Saturday you can use the pool and bar area of the Radisson Ft. George Hotel free of charge.
