Scubatours was born out of years of negative experiences. Often providers don't know the diving center or the ship, and promises on websites aren't true. Rental equipment is outdated, Nitrox is missing, and staff changes often. That's exactly what we want to avoid.
Since 2015 we only recommend diving centers and liveaboards that we have tested ourselves, where safety is a priority and the offers are tailored to the level of the divers. Our offer is smaller but reliable. We know all providers personally and update our knowledge regularly. Whether you're a solo diver, a couple, or a family - we have suitable offers. We travel annually, test new things, and ensure quality. Honesty is our focus, even when it comes to negative aspects.

I love diving and exploring underwater worlds around the globe – from the Red Sea to the Pacific and the South Seas. My favorites are Indonesia (Komodo, Banda Sea, Raja Ampat), the Philippines (Malapascua, Apo, Tubbataha Reef), the Maldives, and Mexico (Socorro, Cenotes). Each destination has its highlights, from large marine animals like mantas, whale sharks, and sharks to fascinating wrecks like those in Coron, Philippines.
There are suitable diving spots for beginners and advanced divers, even in Europe. Let’s find the perfect spot for you together!

Diving has become indispensable to me. I dive daily, often with my camera. I adapt to the conditions, whether using a 3mm or 7mm wetsuit or a dry suit. In addition, I edit photos, write articles, and handle bookkeeping.
Our motto: "After the trip is before the trip." My job is also my hobby. From large marine animals to tiny, hard-to-find creatures showcased on our website.

Diving has been my passion since childhood, inspired by my father. After an internship in Switzerland, I realized: My heart belongs to the sea. I worked in a dive center in Thailand, completed several advanced courses, and finished my instructor course in Indonesia. Four fantastic years followed until Covid brought me back home.
Now I work part-time at Scubatours, where I dive more, accompany trips, and serve as a contact for Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

I started diving in 2015, fell in love with the underwater world, and haven’t looked back since. For six years, I travelled and dived in many different places before deciding to settle in Nusa Penida with Purple Dive. Since then, I’ve continued to explore the incredible dive sites of Nusa Penida and teach others to dive here. I met Roberto in Tulamben at a macro dive site, and we’ve gone diving together a few times in Nusa Penida. I’m a passionate macro and nudibranch enthusiast and love discovering new dive spots.
